SIVAS - Turkey was described as "the country of 'healer fish'" during the annual congress of European Spas Association (ESPA) held recently in Estonia, said Fuat Unsal, spokesman of Turkish Spas Association, on Tuesday.
Stressing that all ESPA-member spas were introduced during the congress, Unsal said Turkey's thermal springs were praised highly by the participants.
Unsal indicated that, especially the renowned "Balikli Kaplica", located in Kangal town of central Anatolian province of Sivas, was praised at all the meetings and symposiums held by ESPA.
"As this thermal spring is a treatment center, the 'healer fish' of the spa raise great interest," Unsal affirmed.
