Fires In Greece - Turkish Parliament Speaker Sends Message

ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan sent a message to his Greek counterpart Anna Benaki expressing his sorrow over the forest fires which affected the country on a wide range.
The forest fires which broke out on August 26th have caused death of more than 60 people so far.
On Monday, Turkey sent a JL215-type amphibic plane to Greece to help Greek government in its efforts to extinguish wild fires that have been affecting especially Peloponnese peninsula.
