MIAMI - A federal judge on Tuesday approved the extradition of former Panamian dictator Manuel Noriega to France after he completes a US prison sentence on September 9, US media reported.
Noriega was captured during the 1989 US invasion of Panama and taken to the United States, where he was convicted of drug trafficking. In 1999, a French court sentenced him in absentia to 10 years in jail for money laundering.
