ANKARA - Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean Obeid came to Turkey for an official visit on Sunday.
Obeid is expected to discuss bilateral relations as well as daily regional and international issues in his meetings in Turkey.
Jean Obeid's visit to Turkey is important since it is the first visit paid in the level of foreign ministers from Lebanon to Turkey after 21 years of interval.
Meanwhile, Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri is expected to pay a visit to Turkey in May.
Hariri will hold meetings in Ankara between May 12 and 13 if there is no change in his schedule.
