ANKARA - Studies on 375 million U.S. dollars of tranche of economic reform loan were completed at the end of March and the mentioned loan would be released in April, Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan said on Saturday.
Babacan held a press conference with World Bank's Turkey Director Andrew Vorkink and Treasury Undersecretary Ibrahim Canakci at the Treasury Undersecretariat.
Noting that there were positive developments in macroeconomic figures including inflation and growth rates, he said that those positive developments should be lasting.
Babacan said that structural reforms were vital in a sustainable development and stressed, ''structural reforms are of great importance for the country's integration process with the European Union (EU).''
The most important part of structural reforms program was providing efficient public finance, he added.
