PARIS - Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan attended on Thursday a conference on ''financing of development'' in French capital Paris.
The conference was held at ministerial level with initiative of French Finance and Industry Minister Nicolas Sarkozy and British Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown.
Following the conference, Babacan told A.A that goals for development were discussed and stated that what kind of financial aids developed countries would extend to poor countries was taken up in the conference.
Babacan said that Turkey was not a country which received or granted ''official development aid'' and added that Turkey supported studies on this issue.
State Minister Babacan, who has held meetings in Paris for two days, departed from France.
