ISTANBUL - Turkish State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullatif Sener returned to Turkey on Thursday from Prague.
Sener joined Turkish-Czech Republic Joint Economic Commission 3rd Term Meeting.
Issuing a statement on Thursday, the Foreign Trade Undersecretariat recalled that State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullatif Sener headed Turkish delegation and Industry and Trade Minister Milan Urban headed Czech Republic delegation at the Turkey-Czech Republic JEC Third Term Meeting in Prague between April 5-8.
Noting that Sener was received by Czech Republic's Prime Minister Vladimir Spidla during his stay in Prague, it said that Sener also had a meeting with Czech Republic's Transportation Minister Milan Simonovsky.
Latest situation of bilateral trade was reviewed and measures to increase bilateral trade and joint investments were discussed during meeting between Turkish and Czech delegations, it said and added that opportunities of cooperation in fields of agriculture, energy, industry, tourism, environment, privatization, joint investments and contracting services in addition to free zones, standardization and banking and loan relations were discussed.
