ANKARA - Democratic Society Party (DTP) Parliamentary Group Chairman Ahmet Turk said Monday that his party's deputies will participate in presidential election to be held in Turkish parliament. But Turk said he will cast a blank vote.
Speaking at his party's meeting at the parliament, Turk said his party has decided to attend the parliamentary vote to be held on Monday to elect the president. "We will not boycott the parliament," he said.
"But I, as Ahmet Turk, will cast a blank vote" he added.
