ANKARA - Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan announced on Thursday that total consolidated budget expenditures was 30 quadrillion 806 trillion Turkish liras (TL), total consolidated budget incomes was 23 quadrillion 551 trillion TL and budget deficit was 7 quadrillion 255 trillion TL in first quarter of 2004.
Holding a news conference, Unakitan announced budgetary figures in the January-March period of 2004 and said that primary budget surplus in this period was 7 quadrillion 633 trillion TL.
Unakitan said that budget deficit target in 2004 was 45 quadrillion 836 trillion TL and primary budget surplus target was 20 quadrillion 214 trillion TL.
