Total Deposits At Banks Rose To 154.1 Quadrillion T.L.

ANKARA - Total deposits at banks rose 739.3 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 154 quadrillion 116.6 trillion TL as of March 26, 2004.
The Central Bank data show that the total deposits were 153 quadrillion 377.4 trillion TL on March 19.
When inter-bank deposits are not calculated, the total deposits, which were 151 quadrillion 130.8 trillion TL on March 19, rose 563.7 trillion TL to 151 quadrillion 694.5 trillion TL on March 26.
In the same period, TL deposits under total deposits at banks increased 984.9 trillion TL to 86 quadrillion 879.4 trillion TL. TL deposits were 85 quadrillion 894.4 trillion TL on March 19.
The total foreign exchange deposits under total deposits at banks dropped 421.2 trillion TL from 65 quadrillion 236.4 trillion TL on March 19 to 64 quadrillion 815.1 trillion TL on March 26.
Since the beginning of the year, total deposits at banks increased by 3 quadrillion 144.6 trillion TL and TL deposits rose by 9 quadrillion 865.3 trillion TL while foreign currency deposits dropped by 6 quadrillion 127.6 trillion TL.
