ANKARA - Banks' credit volume rose 1 quadrillion 419.5 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 62 quadrillion 586.8 trillion TL between March 19 and 26, 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 61 quadrillion 167.3 trillion TL on March 19.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 785.5 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 536.9 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 134.3 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 55 quadrillion 168.7 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 659.2 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
