ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank rose by 594 million U.S. dollars between March 26 and April 2, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 32 billion 552 million U.S. dollars on March 26 rose to 33 billion 146 million U.S. dollars on April 2.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations rose 1 billion 156 million U.S. dollars from 12 billion 139 million U.S. dollars to 13 billion 295 million U.S. dollars between March 12 and 19.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations rose 1 billion 310 million U.S. dollars from 45 billion 550 million U.S. dollars to 46 billion 860 million U.S. dollars between March 12-19.
