Repo Transactions Between Banks And Their Customers Drop

ANKARA - Repo transactions between banks and their customers dropped by 259.4 trillion Turkish liras (TL) between March 26 and April 2, 2004.
The Central Bank data show that the repo transactions, which were 3 quadrillion 139.3 trillion TL on March 26, dropped to 2 quadrillion 879.9 trillion TL on April 2.
The reverse repo transactions with customers fell 55.6 trillion TL from 124.9 trillion TL to 69.3 trillion TL in this period.
Repo transactions among the financial organizations dropped 205.1 trillion TL to 7 quadrillion 619 trillion TL on April 2. The total repo transactions amount was 7 quadrillion 824.1 trillion TL on March 26.
The reverse repo transactions among the financial organizations, which were 7 quadrillion 753.2 trillion TL on March 26, dropped 232.2 trillion TL to 7 quadrillion 521 trillion TL on April 2.
