ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Thursday that it was out of question for Turkey to send soldiers to Iraq.
When recalled the news claiming that the United States requested soldiers from Turkey, Gul told reporters, ''we have suggested this in the past and it was not considered appropriate and from now on sending Turkish soldiers is out of question.''
When asked his views about the statements of French Foreign Minister Michel Barnier, Gul said, ''various exaggerated statements can be made for internal political reasons.''
