Environment And Forestry Minister Pepe Received By President Turkmenbasi Of Turkmenistan

ASHKHABAD - Environment and Forestry Minister Osman Pepe, who is currently in Ashkhabad, was received by President Saparmurat Turkmenbasi of Turkmenistan on Tuesday.
Turkmenbasi said that there were precious minerals in Lebap town of Turkmenistan and noted that Turkish businessmen could make investments there.
Following the meeting which lasted for about one hour, Pepe said that Turkmenbasi was very pleased with investments of Turkish entrepreneurs in his country.
Pepe said that they would make good use of President Turkmenbasi's offer for Turkish businessmen to make investment in sector of mineral and noted that Turkish government attached great importance to this region.
Pepe and accompanying delegation will return to Turkey this afternoon.
