Denktas To Meet With Turkish President Sezer

ANKARA - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Rauf Denktas arrived in Ankara on Tuesday.
Upon questions of reporters at Ankara's Esenboga Airport, Denktas said that he would meet with Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer at 05.30 p.m. and then with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan if his schedule would be appropriate.
When asked whether he would make a speech at Parliament, Denktas said, ''I did not receive such an invitation.'' When asked his interpretation about National Security Council (NSC) statement, Denktas said that he was in Ankara to receive the necessary information which would help him to interpret the statement.
