ANKARA - Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan will leave for Paris on April 7.
Babacan will sign an agreement on Council of Europe Development Bank's 200 million Euro of loan for small and medium scale enterprises (KOBIs).
This loan will be distributed by Turkey Industrial Development Bank, Vakiflar Bankasi, Halk Bankasi and Ziraat Bankasi. KOBIs will use this loan under agreements on secondary loan or leasing.
State Minister Babacan earlier announced that loans for KOBIs would exceed 1 billion U.S. dollars this year with loans granted by European Investment Bank and World Bank.
Babacan will also participate in a conference on ''financing for development'' in Paris on April 8 as the guest of French Finances and Industry Minister and British Chancellor of the Exchequer.
Ministers from developing countries and countries providing fund, representatives from organizations of United Nations and European Commission and international organizations will participate in the conference.
