EDIRNE - Security forces have captured 69 foreigners who attempted to pass abroad illegally in northwestern province of Edirne.
Officials said on Monday that gendarme forces caught 69 foreigners of Chinese, Mauritanian, Bangladeshi, Iraqi, Somalian, Iranian and Pakistani origin during controls in Ipsala, Meric and Uzunkopru towns of Edirne.
The foreigners said that they wanted to proceed to European countries via Greece.
Officials added that foreigners would be deported following legal procedures.
