AMSTERDAM - Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul, who is currently in the Netherlands to attend the ceremonies to mark the 40th anniversary of migration of Turkish workers to this country, met with Dutch Foreign Minister Ben Bot on Sunday.
Gul and Bot met at a luncheon hosted in their honor by Turkish Ambassador to the Netherlands Tacan Ildem.
During the luncheon, relations between Turkey and the European Union (EU) were discussed in detail.
Giving information about the reform process in Turkey, Gul said that they had been exerting great efforts to put these reforms into practice.
Together with Turkish State Minister Mehmet Aydin, Gul will attend a symposium on ''Turkey and EU: A View Beyond Prejudice'' in Maastricht later in the day.
