15th International Folk Dances Festival Held In Tarsus

TARSUS - The 15th International Folk Dances Festival organized by the Tarsus American High School was held in Tarsus town of southern province of Mersin on Saturday.
Tarsus American High School Director Daryl York told the A.A correspondent that 15 folk dances teams from six countries participated in this year's folk dances festival.
Noting that foreign teams had been hosted by families of the students, York added, ''our festival aims to strengthen friendly ties between Turkish and world peoples. We also want to introduce different cultures to our people.''
