ANKARA - The third term meeting of Turkey-Czech Republic Joint Economic Commission (JEC) will be held in Prague between April 5 and 8, 2004.
Releasing a statement on Saturday, the Foreign Trade Undersecretariat said that Turkish State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Sener and Industry and Trade Minister Milan Urban of Czech Republic would preside the meetings.
During visit of Sener to Prague, the joint meeting of Turkey-Czech Republic Business Council will also be held between April 7 and 8.
Sener will be received by Prime Minister Vladimir Spidla of Czech Republic. He is also scheduled to meet with Czech Transportation Minister Milan Simonovsky.
During meetings between Turkish and Czech delegations, measures to be taken to further increase mutual trade volume and joint investments would be taken up in detail.
Besides free zones between Turkey and Czech Republic, co-operation in the sectors of banking, agriculture, energy, industry, tourism, environment, privatization, joint investments and construction services will be discussed at the meetings.
Meanwhile, protocol of the third term meeting of Turkey-Czech Republic JEC will be signed on April 8.
