State Minister Aydin: Germany's Support To Turkey Will Continue

BERLIN - State Minister Mehmet Aydin said on Friday that Germany's support to Turkey would continue.
Holding a press conference at Turkey's Berlin Embassy regarding his meetings, Aydin said that they mainly discussed Turkey's membership to the European Union (EU) and adaptation issues. He added, ''little time is left, thus we have to work fast. There was no issue which disturbed us in our meetings. In conclusion, we have always reached a common point. Germany's support to Turkey will continue.''
Noting that Turkish people who had been living in Germany were very successful in adaptation to society on the contrary to the predictions, Aydin said that cultural differences should not be exaggerated and those differences were not harmful, on the contrary it meant cultural richness.
Aydin said that cultural differences were not a problem and added, ''the problem of the world is not this issue. Implementation of justice is important. Considering the adaptation as unsuccessful is injustice. Related governments had negligences. Concrete projects were not prepared on adaptation.''
Aydin will proceed to the Netherlands on April 4.
