ANKARA - Banks' credit volume rose 265.7 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 61 quadrillion 167.3 trillion TL between March 12 and March 19, 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 60 quadrillion 901.6 trillion TL on March 12.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 766 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 524.7 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 136.4 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 53 quadrillion 755.6 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 682.4 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
