Free Trade Agreement To Be Signed With Morocco On April 7

ANKARA - Turkey and Morocco will sign a Free Trade Agreement on prime ministerial level on April 7, State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said on Friday.
Tuzmen told A.A correspondent that after Turkey signs the agreement with Morocco, number of countries which Turkey signs Free Trade Agreement will reach 16.
Tuzmen said Turkey would take an important step in the process opening to Mediterranean countries by signing the agreement.
Tuzmen said this would be the first Free Trade Agreement that Turkey would conclude with a North African country, pointing out that the agreement would be a pushing force in completion process of preferential trade agreements with North African countries and signatories of Barcelona Process.
Tuzmen said the free trade atmosphere that would be formed with the agreement would facilitate improvement of joint exports and investment strategies.
