ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and accompanying delegation returned from Switzerland to Turkey early on Thursday.
Erdogan, Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul, Parliamentary European Union (EU) Adjustment Commission Chairman and former Foreign Minister Yasar Yakis, Erdogan's advisers and Foreign Ministry bureaucrats had joined Cyprus negotiations in Buergenstock, Switzerland to find a fair and lasting solution to Cyprus issue before May 1 on the basis of United Nations (U.N.) Secretary General Kofi Annan's plan.
Annan had presented his final and revised plan to the parties late on Wednesday before Erdogan and accompanying delegation left Buergenstock.
Erdogan had gone to Buergenstock on March 29 to join the quartet Cyprus conference.
