Arafat Thanks Turkish - Palestinian Friendship Group For Their Support

ANKARA - Palestinian Head of State Yasser Arafat thanked Turkish-Palestinian Interparliamentary Friendship Group Chairman Huseyin Tanriverdi who sent a message of condolence over killing of Hamas spiritual leader Sheik Ahmed Yassin in a missile attack of Israel.
Arafat sent a message to Tanriverdi saying that attack against Yassin and accompanying people was an inhuman action and was the best example of world terrorism.
Stating that Israel was trying all ways to make terrorist actions, Arafat said that acts of violence continued to suppress Palestinian people by tanks and sophisticated weapons.
Arafat added that they thanked Turkish-Palestinian Interparliamentary Friendship Group for their support.
