ANKARA - The second term meeting of Turkey-Moldova JEC which started in Ankara on March 30 ended on Wednesday.
Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler and Moldovan Industry Minister Mihail Garstea signed the protocol of the second term meeting of Turkey-Moldova Joint Economic Commission (JEC).
Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Guler said that economic and commercial relations between the two countries were discussed in detail during meetings between delegations. He stated that the two sides reached consensus on measures for further improvement of bilateral cooperation.
Guler said that the meeting of Turkish-Moldovan Business Council would be held this year. Noting that they would focus on projects for tourism investments in Moldova, he said that cooperation in industry, energy, tourism and agriculture would be further improved between the two countries.
Recalling that the first phase of project which would provide south regions of Moldova with potable water and which was carried out with support of Turkey was completed, he said that technical studies for the second phase would be made.
Garstea said that they held a productive work to further develop relations between Turkey and Moldova.
Recalling that Turkish Prime Minister would pay a visit to Moldova this year, Garstea said that this visit would speed up further improvement of bilateral relations.
