ANKARA - Vote for local elections in Turkey ended at 17.00 local time on Sunday.
Citizens cast votes throughout the country to elect local administrators who would have five years term in office.
Voting for local elections which started in Adana, Afyon, Amasya, Ankara, Antalya, Aydin, Balikesir, Bilecik, Bolu, Burdur, Bursa, Canakkale, Cankiri, Corum, Denizli, Edirne, Eskisehir, Hatay, Isparta, Mersin, Istanbul, Izmir, Kastamonu, Kayseri, Kirklareli, Kirsehir, Kocaeli, Konya, Kutahya, Manisa, Mugla, Nevsehir, Nigde, Sakarya, Samsun, Sinop, Tekirdag, Tokat, Usak, Yozgat, Zonguldak, Aksaray, Karaman, Kirikkale, Bartin, Yalova, Karabuk, Osmaniye and Duzce provinces at 8.00 local time ended at 17.00 local time.
Voting in eastern 32 provinces in the country ended at 16.00 local time in accordance with the decision of Higher Election Board (YSK).
Candidates of 20 political parties competed in local elections.
