KABUL - NATO's Senior Civilian Representative Hikmet Cetin in Afghanistan departed from Kabul on Sunday to attend the meetings which will be held on Afghanistan on Thursday in Berlin and Brussels.
Cetin told A.A correspondent that mainly Afghanistan issue would be discussed in the meetings in which foreign ministers of 60 countries were invited. He added that NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, Afghan President Hamid Karzai and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder would participate in the meetings to make speeches.
Cetin said that he would express the necessity of Afghanistan's participation in international society and being a reliable and democratic country.
Cetin will return to Kabul on Wednesday.
