Turkish Armed Forces Continues To Expend Aid To Afghanistan

ANKARA - Turkish Armed Forces, which supported many initiatives in the region aiming to install peace and stability, continues to expend aid to Afghanistan.
Turkish Armed Forces, which carried out second term command of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan between June 20, 2002 and February 10, 2003, developed many projects in education, health, infrastructure, civilian-military cooperation activities, and agriculture.
Turkish Armed Forces, which successfully put around 200 projects into practice in Afghanistan, accelerated studies for the projects planned to be made within 2004.
Turkish Armed Forces spent around 1.3 million U.S. dollars for civilian-military cooperation projects in Afghanistan.
