Securities Account At Banks Drops By 2.5 Quadrillion T.L.

ANKARA - The securities account at banks dropped 2 quadrillion 550.3 trillion Turkish Liras (TL) to 58 quadrillion 527.5 trillion TL on March 12.
The total securities account at banks was 61 quadrillion 77.9 trillion TL on March 5.
The Central Bank data show that there were a total of 57 quadrillion 675.8 trillion TL of securities including 37 quadrillion 741.8 trillion TL of securities and 19 quadrillion 934 trillion TL of securities over foreign currency in the deposit banks portfolio.
The securities over TL at deposit banks are composed of 2 quadrillion 588.9 trillion TL in treasury bonds, 34 quadrillion 526.5 trillion TL in state debenture bonds and 591.4 trillion TL in stocks.
A total of 1 quadrillion 34.7 trillion TL of foreign currency securities at these banks are abroad while there is a total of 18 quadrillion 846.9 trillion TL of state debenture bonds among the domestic securities.
The total securities account at the development and investment banks was 847.8 trillion TL.
