ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank dropped by 154 million U.S. dollars between March 12 and 19, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 31 billion 853 million U.S. dollars on March 12 dropped to 32 billion 853 million U.S. dollars on March 19.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations increased 644 million U.S. dollars from 12 billion 187 million U.S. dollars to 12 billion 831 million U.S. dollars between February 27 and March 5.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 61 million U.S. dollars from 47 billion 126 million U.S. dollars to 47 billion 187 million U.S. dollars between February 27 and March 5.
