Erdogan Due To Brussels To Attend E.U. Spring-term Summit

ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will leave for Brussels on Wednesday to attend the European Union (EU) Spring-Term Summit to be held between March 25 and 26, 2004.
Sources told the A.A correspondent on Tuesday that Prime Minister Erdogan would leave for Brussels at 22.30 local time on Wednesday.
He is scheduled to partake in a luncheon to be hosted by Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt of Belgium in honor of group leaders of European Liberal Party on Thursday.
After meeting with EU Commissioner Guenter Verheugen, Prime Minister Erdogan will attend a banquet to be hosted in honor of heads of state and government of EU member and candidate countries.
Erdogan is expected to return to Turkey on Friday after attending the briefing of the EU Term Presidency for heads of state and government of candidate countries.
