ANKARA - "No incident has occurred throughout Turkey that might have a negative impact on the results of general elections," Muammer Aydin, the Chairman of the Higher Board of Election (YSK) said on Sunday.
Speaking after voting process to elect the 23rd term parliamentarians has ended across Turkey as of 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, Aydin said several trivial arguments, that do not have any links with the election process, occurred between some citizens.
"We may lift the ban on broadcasting election results before 9:00 p.m.," he remarked.
