ISTANBUL - Turkish-U.S. Business Council and American-Turkish Council Joint Annual Conference will be held in Washington April 4-7, 2004.
Establishment of finance mechanisms supporting purchase of real estate with long-term loans will be discussed in the conference for the first time this year.
Turkish-U.S. Business Council Chairman Vural Akisik said that they expected about 2 thousand people to attend the conference.
Turkish and U.S. governments' officials, bureaucrats and high-level representatives were invited to the conference.
Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen and National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul will deliver speeches in the conference.
There will be panels on Iraq and political analysis of region, new individual retirement system's effect on monetary markets in Turkey, strategic and military evaluation of regional issues'' and new ways in terrorism and war along with committee meetings on construction, energy, foreign relations, security, agriculture, tourism, trade, investment and medicine during the conference.
