LEFKOSA - The 15th meeting between Turkish and Greek Cypriot delegations headed by President Rauf Denktas of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Greek Cypriot leader Tassos Papadopoulos in the buffer zone in Cyprus on Monday under the negotiation process aiming to find a fair and lasting solution to the Cyprus issue, ended.
The negotiation process in the island was completed after the three-hour meeting.
Sources said that issues, which could not be taken up earlier, were brought onto agenda during the meeting.
Meanwhile, the United States asked the Turkish Cypriot side to present the list of TRNC citizens of Turkish origin.
The Greek Cypriot side has, earlier, objected these people's casting votes in the referendum to be held on April 20.
During the meeting, President Denktas made a verbal commitment that Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat would represent the Turkish Cypriot side in Switzerland. President Denktas is expected to make a written commitment later.
The Turkish Cypriot side was expected to submit its current constitution to the United Nations at the meeting. Sources said that TRNC would submit its constitution to the United Nations later.
TRNC Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas did not attend the meeting.
