One German Tourist Dies In Traffic Accident In Antalya

ANTALYA - Two people, including one German tourist, died in a traffic accident which happened in southern Antalya province, sources said on Saturday.
Sources told A.A correspondent that a minibus, carrying German and Austrian tourists who were staying in Kiris and Tekirova hamlets of Antalya's Kemer town, crashed into a car near Antalya.
German tourist Christian Fritz, 69, died at the scene of the accident while Levent Karagoz, the 37-year-old driver of the car, lost his life on the road to hospital.
Fifteen people, namely Hurriyet Karagoz, Abdullah Esin, Atasev Akbulut, German citizens Elenora Zehnez, Stefan Kurchs, Kav Hers, Annalisa Nesles, Raus Emil, and Austrian citizens Guenter Sschloegel, Robert Gieserwinler, Walter Kei, Monica Hopichler, Romano Franbacher, Anstria Weidiweg and Rupert Geiswinkler were injured in the accident.
The injured were taken under treatment in several hospitals in Antalya.
The accident happened when tourists were going to the airport to fly back to their countries after spending their holiday in southern Antalya province.
