ISTANBUL - "There are some circles trying to incite enmity and hatred among our people. We should resist against them as a single nation, single flag, single homeland and single state. No one can separate us," Turkish Prime Minister and Justice & Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday.
Speaking at his political party's election campaign rally in Istanbul, Erdogan said, "we came to the political power on November 3rd with a vote rate of 34.4 percent. Now, we will come to the political power on our own by increasing that rate to 40 percent."
"Five new foundation universities will be established in Istanbul. We have made significant progress in mass housing. Our target is to construct 60 thousand dwellings in Istanbul by the end of the year," he said.
"We let everyone to benefit from state hospitals," Erdogan stressed.
Giving information about economic developments, Erdogan said, "we succeeded in reducing inflation rate to 8.6 percent from 30 percent. Interest rates also decreased to 8 percent from 63 percent. We have opened a new page in education, health, justice, security, transportation, energy, public services and agriculture."
