ANKARA - "We will not form a coalition with independent candidates who are supported by the Democratic Society Party (DTP)," said Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday.
Erdogan appeared on a news program on Samanyolu tv channel on Saturday.
"We expect to receive at least 40 percent of the Turkish vote in the general elections," noted Erdogan. "This means that the Justice and Development (AK) Party will have at least 310-315 deputies in the new parliament. With such a number, we need not form a coalition," stressed Erdogan.
