SYDNEY - The Australian government Monday ordered an Indian doctor locked up in immigration detention just hours after a court granted him bail on a charge connected to the failed British car-bomb attacks.
Mohammed Haneef, 27, who had been working as a doctor in Australia, had his visa cancelled and will be held in detention until the charge against him is heard in court, Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews said.
