Gul: Denktas Has Not Withdrawn From Negotiations

ISTANBUL - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said Thursday regarding TRNC President Rauf Denktas's decision on not joining the four-party conference, ''Mr. Denktas has not withdrawn from negotiations so why we should talk about these.''
Asked whether Denktas' not participating in four-party talks would affect negotiation process, Gul said, ''Mr. Denktas has not withdrawn from negotiations so why we should discuss these.''
Asked whether they had launched any initiative to have Denktas review his decision, Gul said, ''we actually are in continuous contact. We have friends there. We do everything together.''
