Technical Committees Continue Their Meetings In Cyprus

NATIONAL ANTHEM TO BE DETERMINED ON FRIDAY

LEFKOSA - Technical committees, formed by Turkish and Greek Cypriot sides under the supervision of U.N. aiming to prepare a basis for the new state in Cyprus, continue their studies.
The technical committee will convene at 10.00 local time on Friday to determine the national anthem of the federal state.
The technical committees work to prepare legal and financial basis of the federal state and founding states, discuss laws on maritime, public services regulations and fight against terrorism. They also discuss studies aiming to determine the public personnel need of the federal state.
The committees that convene separately in the U.N. Conference Center according to the issues, discuss specific issues within a timetable.
