ANKARA - Banks' credit volume dropped 81.3 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 60 quadrillion 130.8 trillion TL between February 27 and March 5, 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 60 quadrillion 212.1 trillion TL on February 27.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 760.8 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 503.8 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 136.5 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 52 quadrillion 754.2 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 718.3 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
