ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank dropped by 946 million U.S. dollars between March 5 and 12, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 32 billion 799 million U.S. dollars on March 5 dropped to 31 billion 853 million U.S. dollars on March 12.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations reduced 442 million U.S. dollars from 12 billion 629 million U.S. dollars to 12 billion 187 million U.S. dollars between February 20 and 27.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations dropped 1 billion 646 million U.S. dollars from 48 billion 772 million U.S. dollars to 47 billion 126 million U.S. dollars between February 20 and 27.
