Gen. Basbug Meets With Bush's National Security Deputy Adviser Hadley

WASHINGTON - General Staff Deputy Chief Gen. Ilker Basbug met with U.S. President George W. Bush's National Security Deputy Adviser Stephen Hadley at the White House late on Wednesday.
Basbug is expected to meet with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage and Assistant Secretary of State Elizabeth Jones for European affairs on Thursday.
Basbug is expected to return to Turkey via New York after completing his meetings in Washington.
