Efforts Under Way To Recover Bodies Of Crew Members Of Cambodian-flagged Ship

ISTANBUL - Efforts have been continuing to recover the bodies of 19 crew members of Cambodian-flagged ship ''Hera'', which sank in the Black Sea in February, Directorate General of Coast Security and Vessel Rescue Enterprises (KEGKI) Press Advisor Recep Canpolat said on Wednesday.
Canpolat told the A.A correspondent that divers had located the wreckage of the ship, recalling that divers had found a body in a cabin during their search in the wreckage four days ago.
Canpolat added that divers found and recovered another body at the entrance of the ship's engine room and the body was taken to the Istinye State Hospital's morgue.
Cambodian-flagged ship ''Hera'' laden with coal sank in the Black Sea 7 miles off the Istanbul Strait on February 13, 2004 due to bad weather. There were 17 Bulgarian and two Ukrainian crew members.
