Bursa Exports Fresh Vegetables And Fruits To 15 Countries

BURSA - Exports of fresh vegetables and fruits from northwestern province of Bursa increased 20.7 percent to 3.7 million U.S. dollars in the January-February period of 2004.
In the same period last year, the province exported 3.1 million U.S. dollars of fresh vegetables and fruits.
In February, exports of fresh vegetables and fruits from Bursa rose 43 percent from 1.4 million U.S. dollars to 2 million U.S. dollars.
The province exported 1 million 863 U.S. dollars of fresh vegetables and fruits to Germany. Switzerland, the Netherlands, Greece and Romania were the other countries to which most of fresh products were exported.
