ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Friday that the government was transparent in Cyprus issue like it was transparent in other issues.
Upon a question about Cyprus negotiations, Gul said that the government was transparent in that issue like it was transparent in other issues.
''If everything that is discussed behind the closed doors would be told outside, this is not diplomacy. I didn't tell this about TRNC President Rauf Denktas, I told it in a general context because Mr. President (Denktas) is aware of that. He will tell the things that can be said and he will not tell the things that can't be told, but everybody will be aware of the things that is going on,'' he said.
