Gul: United States Does Not Ask Turkey For More Troops For Afghanistan

ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Friday that United States' asking for more troops from Turkey for Afghanistan was not in question.
Replying to questions of journalists, Gul said that Turkey earlier decided to send helicopters to Afghanistan and the helicopters were not for purpose of attack, but for general service.
Gul added that apart from the helicopters, Turkey would not be asked to send more troops to Afghanistan.
