ANKARA - Turkey-EU Commission political dialogue meeting which is regularly held to review the adjustment of Turkey to EU political criteria, will be held in Brussels on March 15.
A Foreign Ministry statement noted on Friday that Turkey-EU Association Committee meeting would be organized in Brussels on March 16 to take up in detail Turkey's accession process to EU and various issues within the scope of customs deal.
Delegations composed of high ranking officials to be headed by Foreign Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Volkan Bozkir who is in charge of relations with EU and EU countries will attend the meetings.
The Foreign Ministry noted that ''the two meetings carry importance to review the preparations of Turkey within the scope of accession process. Besides, the two sides will also exchange views about issues of improving financial cooperation, deepening customs deal and examining the acquis. The meetings will also have the character of preparation for Association Council which is planned to convene at the level of ministers in May.''
